On March 15, members of the Westmere Fire Department participated in the Albany St. Patrick's Day Parade, alongside community groups, civic organizations, and other emergency response agencies.

Despite the cold and gusty circumstances, department members marched in the parade and represented the fire service at the Albany celebration. The parade is a long-standing tradition that brings together residents and organizations from throughout the Capital Region.

The department praised the Albany Limericks for inviting them to participate in the event again.
