BEACON, NY — February 22nd — Dutchess Junction Fire Company members commemorated the birthday of current Fire Chief Brendan Barry, who is still in charge of the department's training and emergency response initiatives. In order to provide mutual help throughout Dutchess County, Chief Barry coordinates operations with nearby units and directs firefighters during incidents. In order to uphold training standards and guarantee that personnel are ready for emergencies, volunteer fire companies across New York State depend on seasoned leadership.
The chief's unwavering dedication to the organization and the community it safeguards was highlighted by department members. In the communities that volunteer fire departments serve, fire chiefs are crucial in directing volunteers, overseeing department operations, and assisting with public safety initiatives.
