This month we feature Brush 66 of the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory, located in Plainsboro (Middlesex County). It is a 2012 Ford F-550 4x4/Firematic BRAT (Brush Rapid Attack Truck), which formerly served at the Brookhaven National Lab in Long Island, NY as their Brush 3. Features and equipment include a five-seat cab, Power Stroke diesel engine, brush guard, Hale 400-gpm pump, 300-gallon water tank, (two) one-inch booster reels, tow strap, Warn 9,500-pound portable winch, Foam Pro system, Stream lights, scene lighting, TFT Foam/PAK, wye connection (2 ½-inch to 1 ½-inch), 1 ¾-inch front bumper line and an Elkhart Sidewinder bumper turret and roll-up compartment doors.
