Carthage, NY — March 8th —The Carthage Fire Department welcomed Hailey MacCue as its newest probationary fireman.
MacCue, a lifelong Carthage native, works at a local veterinary clinic and recently joined the department to complete firefighting and emergency medical training.
Members of the department said they are excited to help MacCue develop the skills she will need to respond to crises and serve the community.
