Falmouth Fire Rescue Captain Scott Starbard Retires After 27 Years of Service

Falmouth, MA - After nearly 27 years of dedicated service, Captain Scott Starbard has officially retired from the Falmouth Fire Rescue Department.


Captain Starbard began his firefighting career with the West Barnstable Fire Department before joining the Falmouth Fire Rescue Department in August 1999 as a Firefighter/Paramedic. Over the course of his career, he earned promotions to Lieutenant in 2015 and later to Captain in 2021.


Throughout his time in the department, Captain Starbard consistently demonstrated professionalism, strong leadership, and an unwavering commitment to the fire service and the community he served.


The department and community extend their congratulations to Captain Starbard on an outstanding career and express their sincere appreciation for his many years of dedicated service.
