The Conesus Volunteer Fire Department has announced the beginning of a new Restricted Active Member (RAM) training program for young people aged 14 to 17, who want to learn more about the fire service.
According to department officials, the program will allow young members to participate in training, learn the fundamentals of emergency response, and get connected with the department while preparing for future volunteer service.
Training nights will be scheduled based on the availability of department members who assist with instruction. Community people interested in the program are encouraged to visit the fire hall on Monday nights after 7:00 p.m. or contact the department for more information.
