East Haddam, CT - On Saturday, February 21, 2026, the East Haddam Fire Department’s Medical Division hosted a CPR and First Aid training session for members of the East Haddam Police Department. The training provided officers with essential lifesaving skills that are critical during emergency situations.
Because police officers are often the first to arrive on the scene of medical emergencies, the training plays an important role in ensuring they are prepared to provide immediate care until additional emergency responders arrive.
The department extended a special thank you to East Haddam Fire Department EMT Instructor Bob Gaudio for leading and instructing the class.
