Elba, NY — March 9th — The Elba Fire Department Inc. and the Elba Joint Fire District have announced their officers for 2026.

Jen Cardinali will be the fire district's chief, with Mike Heale serving as deputy chief. Nick Esten and Ryan Hart will serve as Assistant Chiefs. Other line officers are Captain Tim Hoffarth, Lieutenant Nate Tabor, Lieutenant Mike Schad Jr., Fire Police Captain Kenny Miller, and EMS Captain Mandy Esten.

Kevin Dart will be the department's administrative leader, with Bob Zipfel serving as Vice President. Sue Dart will be Secretary, and Jen Cardinali will be Treasurer, with assistance from Deputy Treasurer Pam Reinhardt and Corresponding Secretary Linda Loder. Donna Esten, Leonard Peterson Sr., and Tim Hoffarth make up the Board of Directors.

The department also acknowledged the Ladies Auxiliary's leadership, which includes Marilyn Smith as President, Marylou Andrews as Vice President, Pam Moreland as Secretary, and Irene Pierce as Treasurer. Donna Esten, Joyce Zipfel, and JoAnne DeMare are on the Auxiliary Board.

According to department officials, the new officers will oversee operations and provide support services to the Elba community throughout the year.
