In Franklin Township (Somerset County) the East Millstone Fire Company in Millstone Valley operates Utility 28. It is a 2019 Ford F-350 XL, 4 x 4 /Duramag by Monmouth Truck. It has a Power Stroke diesel engine,. Features and equipment include Dover roll-up compartment doors, two Code 3 spotlights, a thermal imaging camera, rope bag, flare kit, irons, and AED, a tool kit, chain saw, bottled water, battery cables and a rehab canopy.
