Bainbridge Fire / EMS Completes Annual OSHA Training

BAINBRIDGE, NY — February 22nd — Bainbridge Fire and EMS personnel at 22 W Main St., Bainbridge, NY, finished their yearly OSHA safety training during a departmental training session. Meridian Fire Training Solutions LLC instructors taught the training. The training covered issues related to workplace safety that are relevant to emergency responders, such as operational safety protocols, hazard awareness, and the use of personal protective equipment.


Many emergency response organizations are subject to federal workplace safety regulations that include these topics. In order to stay up to date on the safety procedures utilized during fire suppression, rescue operations, and emergency medical calls, volunteer firefighters and EMS providers routinely undergo refresher training. According to department representatives, ongoing training promotes safe and efficient emergency response.
