Olean Fire Department Honors Longtime Captain on Retirement

OLEAN, NY — February 20th —After years of devotion to the department and community, Captain Jared Isaman of the City of Olean Fire Department, located at 542 N Union St., Olean, NY, announced his retirement. Isaman's leadership and consistent involvement in day-to-day fire operations were acknowledged by Chief Maurouard and department personnel. Throughout his tenure, Isaman responded to a variety of incidents in the City of Olean, such as rescues, medical crises, and building fires.


The department employs career firemen who support neighboring agencies through mutual aid while offering emergency response, fire control, and rescue services throughout the city. Experienced police assist in directing training and ensuring safe operations, according to department officials. An esteemed chapter of service to the Olean community comes to an end with Isaman's retirement.
