Suffern, NY - On the evening of March 2, 2026, the Suffern Fire Department hosted Orange & Rockland Utilities for an informative O&R 101 training class during its weekly drill. Subject matter experts from O&R delivered specialized instruction designed specifically for first responders.

The training covered critical topics including gas emergencies, electrical substations, and overhead and ungrounded electrical hazards, providing firefighters with important knowledge to safely respond to utility-related incidents.
