Piermont Police Officers Honored by Rockland County PBA for Outstanding Service

Piermont, NY - Members of the Piermont Police Department were honored by the Rockland County PBA for their outstanding service to the community during a ceremony held last night.


Detective Boutros received recognition for excellent police duty after intervening during one of his tours to stop an individual from jumping off a bridge, demonstrating quick action and dedication to saving lives.


Patrol Officer Shannon Hansen was honored for her exceptional community service, particularly for the compassion, care, and dedication she shows toward animals—efforts that go well beyond her regular duties.


Several officers were also recognized not only for their service to the Piermont community but for their service to the United States. Sergeant Gaynor (Marine), Patrolman Evans (Marine), and Patrolman Troy (Army) were acknowledged for their commitment both in uniform at home and in the military.


The community of Piermont is fortunate to have such dedicated men and women serving and protecting its residents. Their continued commitment reflects the highest standards of public service.
