BRIGHTON, NY — February 28th —The Brighton Fire agency commended Firefighter Dan Walters for successfully completing his probationary stint with the agency.
During the recognition, Chief MacAdam handed Walters his helmet front, which is a tradition in the fire service that signifies the transfer from probationary firefighter to full member of the department.
Officials stated that completing the probationary period necessitates intensive training, devotion, and a commitment to mastering the skills required for emergency response and firefighting operations.
