National Grid Leads Electrical Safety Training

LOUDONVILLE, NY — February 25th — The Shaker Road-Loudonville Fire Department hosted a training course on National Grid's First Responder Electrical Emergency Awareness Program.


Firefighters attended the evening simulation to learn about electrical risks, reaction considerations, and safety measures while responding to accidents involving utility infrastructure. The interactive lecture enabled members to go over real-world scenarios and discuss best practices for working safely around electrical equipment.
