Catskill Department Acknowledges Longtime Emergency Service Members

CATSKILL, NY — February 27th — Two members of the emergency services community were honored by Catskill Fire Company, Inc. for reaching a significant number of years of service supporting fire and emergency medical services. Senior Dispatcher Kohrs received recognition for ten years of service, while Deputy Director Dan King received recognition for fifteen years.


Additionally, both people have worked in the fire and emergency medical services industries for many years, supporting communications and emergency response in Greene County. In order to coordinate resources, provide information to responding units, and assist crews working in the field, dispatchers and emergency communications personnel are essential. Long-term dedication from dispatch personnel and responders enhances response to service requests and strengthens departmental collaboration.
