Rensselaer, NY - Another great month of BEFO training has taken place for the CTE Fire Science Program. Students are now halfway through the program, and instructors report that their progress has been remarkable. Last week’s sessions focused on rural water supply and tanker operations, essential skills for situations where municipal hydrant systems are unavailable.

Members of the East Schodack Fire Department and South Schodack Fire Company assisted with the hands-on training, sharing their expertise and providing students with valuable real-world experience that cannot be replicated in a classroom setting.
