— February 23rd — Members of the Conquest Fire Company hosted a CPR certification training night to reinforce life-saving techniques used during cardiac emergencies.
During the session, firefighters practiced high-quality chest compressions, rescue breathing, and the proper use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). The training gave members hands-on experience to help them stay confident and ready to respond when seconds count.
During the drill, newer members assisted more experienced firemen by asking questions and honing their skills. According to department officials, training nights promote teamwork while reinforcing medical emergency procedures.
