— March 7th — Four Farmersville Fire Department personnel attended Ice Water Rescue Technician training in Machias this weekend. The seminar focused on how to act safely during cold-water and ice rescue scenarios. Participants went over equipment use, victim recovery methods, and safety protocols meant to safeguard both rescuers and victims during operations on frozen or partially frozen waters.
