Valois Logan Hector Fire Company Reports 165 Calls in 2025

The Valois Logan Hector Volunteer Fire Company posted its 2025 incident summary, reporting a total of 165 alarms for service this year.
The report pointed out by Fire Chief Michael Hicks identifies 65 EMS rescue calls as the largest category, followed by 25 ambulance mutual help responses and 16 public assistance calls. Firefighters also dealt with 14 fire mutual assistance events, 13 fire or carbon monoxide alarms, and 16 storm-related calls involving trees or wires.
Additional reactions included five grass or brush fires, two vehicle fires, two controlled burns, four motor vehicle accidents, and two crash detection alarms from vehicle safety systems. Officials also discovered one incorrect dispatch this year.
