The Unadilla Fire Department continues its "Meet Our Members" series with highlighting Fire Chief Tyler Post, a 20-year department veteran.

Post, who is from Otego, is currently the department's chief and also works as a telecommunications engineering manager. He originally joined the fire service after being introduced to it by friends, and he was impressed by the dedication of volunteer firemen to their community.

According to Post, one of the most satisfying aspects of the job is giving back to the community and making lifelong ties through the fire department. He also expressed his pride in the department's internal training programs, which emphasize practical and relevant hands-on training. Post said he is honored to serve the Village and Town of Unadilla and appreciates the continued support from the community.
