Albion Joint Fire District Releases February Call Statistics

March 7, 2026 — The Albion Joint Fire District released its response statistics for February, highlighting the continued activity handled by firefighters and EMS personnel.

During the month, the department responded to 69 total incidents, including 42 fire calls and 27 EMS calls, bringing the year-to-date total to 120 calls.

Incident responses included assist-the-public calls, alarm activations, emergency medical services, motor vehicle accidents, hazardous conditions, non-building fires, mutual aid responses, and landing zone assistance for Mercy Flight.


The department also shared several monthly updates, including the placement of three new AEDs into service and an announcement that the department is currently accepting applications for membership.


The Albion Joint Fire District continues to encourage community members interested in serving to reach out and learn more about joining the department.
