Montgomery Fire Department Mourns Robin Kleister Reynolds

February 27, 2026 — The Montgomery Fire Department announced with deep sorrow the passing of Robin Kleister Reynolds, a dedicated member and longtime supporter of the fire service community.

Reynolds held numerous leadership roles throughout her years of service, including Past Captain of the Montgomery Fire Police, Past President of the Montgomery Fire Department and Fleet Hook and Ladder, and she was currently serving as Treasurer of the department.


In addition to her work within Montgomery, Reynolds was an active member of the Orange County and Hudson Valley fire service associations. Her dedication and contributions to the fire service were recognized in 2016 when she received the Orange County Woman of Achievement Award.


Reynolds devoted countless years to supporting firefighters and the department, leaving a lasting impact through her leadership, commitment, and steady presence.


Funeral arrangements are pending and will be announced once finalized. Members of the Montgomery Fire Department extended their heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and fellow firefighters during this difficult time.
