The Deposit Fire Department reported that Firefighter Michael Anderson successfully completed the Interior Fire Operations (IFO) course earlier in February.
The training prepares firefighters to operate safely inside structures during a fire. The course covers the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA), as well as strategies for interior fire attack and fireground safety.
