Franklin Square, NY - On 4th March 2026 members began their annual in-service refresher training on SCBA (Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus) and mask confidence. During the training, members navigated through the department’s training facility while encountering various obstacles designed to simulate real emergency conditions. The course required them to perform emergency maneuvers while operating in blacked-out environments, helping reinforce their skills and confidence while working in low-visibility situations.
