East Kingston, NY — March 2nd — In support of local fire and emergency medical services, members of the East Kingston Volunteer Fire Company convened at the firehouse for a memorial service in honor of Lieutenant Vince Campbell. In order to allow family, friends, and members of the fire service community to visit the station and pay their respects, personnel arranged a drive-through memorial with the help of mutual aid departments. As participants proceeded through the grounds, equipment and staff lined the path.

In honor of Lt. Campbell's service and dedication to the department and community, firefighters and EMS providers gathered for a customary "Final Alarm" ceremony after the procession. Ulster Hose, Ruby, East Kingston, West Hurley, Woodstock, and Hurley Ambulance were among the departments who helped with the ceremony; their personnel made sure the tribute was executed with dignity and organization.
