Laporte, PA - Station 50 has upgraded its ATV to better meet the department’s operational needs. The unit now features a fully enclosed cab, heat, a V-plow, and seating for up to six personnel. Plans are in place to add an EMS/Fire skid unit in the future to further expand its capabilities.

The department’s previous ATV faithfully served for 20 years but no longer met operational demands or provided adequate protection for crews during winter night search missions. The older unit is expected to be listed for sale in the coming months.
