North River Mourns Loss of Retired Captain Hadlock

February 23rd —North River Fire District has reported the death of former Captain Terry Hadlock, a longstanding member of the department who served the community from 1981 until his retirement in 2008.
Hadlock worked as a Hazardous Materials Technician and was a member of the district's Specialized Rescue Team. He also served as Fleet and Maintenance Supervisor, managing apparatus preparedness and ensuring emergency vehicles remained ready for response. According to colleagues, Hadlock was noted for his professionalism, devotion, and eagerness to assist others. His contributions aided both frontline operations and the behind-the-scenes labor that ensures departments run smoothly and efficiently.
Department officials thanked him for his years of service and offered sympathies to the Hadlock family during this difficult time.
