Cub Scout Pack 35 Visits Commerce Fire Station

COMMERCE, GA — February 23rd —Firefighter Shelly with the Commerce Fire Department invited Cub Scout Pack 35 to the station for an instructional tour about the fire service and safety. During the visit, scouts learned about firefighters' roles in community safety and got a close look at the equipment utilized during emergency responses. Firefighter Shelly highlighted how protective gear and tools enable firemen to work safely on calls. The scouts were also able to explore the apparatus and ask questions about daily life at the station.
