Canton, GA — February 5th — Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services spoke with members of the Kiwanis Club of North Cherokee on winter weather readiness and emergency response operations. Fire officials explained how the department collaborates with partner agencies and community stakeholders to plan for and respond to winter-related occurrences, as well as routine emergencies during cold weather. To ensure public safety, collaboration, planning, and communication were prioritized. Department members praised the Kiwanis Club for the opportunity to provide information and raise awareness and readiness in Cherokee County.
