Daytona Beach Shores Engine 77

The Daytona Beach Shores Public Safety Department recently placed into service a 2020 Sutphen Monarch Heavy Duty Custom Pumper as Engine 77. This apparatus replaced a 2013 Ferrara 55’ Custom Arial as the first out apparatus. It is equipped with a 750-gallon water tank, a 1500-GMP Hale Pump, 8 discharges (4 midship, 2 rear & 2 front bumper) and a deck gun. Engine 77 is powered by a 450 HP Cummins engine and an Allison Gen 5 EVS 3000 transmission. Additional equipment includes a Brigade 360 camera system, Fire Research Corporation Spectra scene lights and a Whelen LED emergency lights and traffic advisor.
