Stephen A. Asaro, retired FDNY Lt., formerly of Engine 318, passed away on February 10, 2024 from 9-11 related medical issues. He lived in Middletown, New Jersey. He was promoted to Lt. on 5/20/04 and retired in 2006 due to 9-11 illnesses. He is survived by his wife, MaryEllen Asaro, and his son, Christian Asaro, who is an active FDNY Firefighter of Engine 235.
