In February, the Bayport Fire Department hosted advanced ice rescue training as approximately 50 Ice Rescue Technicians from across the Island gathered to pursue Level II certification. The intensive program builds on foundational rescue skills, focusing on advanced techniques, coordination, and safety in hazardous cold-water and ice conditions.
