The Stamford, CT Fire Department has recently taken delivery of this AM General M35A2C 2-1/2 ton truck, formerly belonging to the town of Westport, CT. It will continue to serve as a high-water rescue truck as it did in Westport. Stamford Fire Department Mechanical Supervisor Frank Docimo, Jr. says he's taking on this truck as his winter project, and he is excited to have a new high-water rescue vehicle in the city. The excellent condition of this truck is a testament to the care Westport put into it, this truck isn't dead yet!
