Sitting just east of central Lancaster County is the small town of Intercourse. With a large presence of Amish and Mennonite communities the area fire departments benefit by having many join as First Responders. The Intercourse Fire Company (pictured) moved into their new quarters in 2001 and with the new facility came a large parking lot for cars, and on the other side are stalls and tie downs for the horses.
