The Highland Lakes Fire Department took delivery of their newest apparatus, Tanker 424, in January. The tanker will improve the department's water supply capabilities, especially in areas without hydrant coverage. Department officials noted that the addition of Tanker 424 strengthens operational readiness and supports both local responses and mutual aid assignments.
