Hernando County Fire and Rescue have put into service 3 new Quint to the apparatus fleet. Quints 1, 4 and 8 formely (Engines 1, 4 and 8) went into service at the end of their quarter of the year. The Quints, which are Sutphen mid-mounts, are equipped with 500-gallon water tanks, 50-gallon foam cell and 75-foot aerials. This adds to the aerial capabilities (the only other aerial is a Tower Ladder).
