Instructed by Lt. Paul Rogers FDNY (ret)
Retired FDNY Lieutenant after more than 25 years, Lt. Rogers served as a HaxMat specialist before cofounding ESRG, supervising the FDNY's premier HazMat team. He also served as a HaMat manager for the FEMA NY Task Force 1 Urban Search and Rescue Team. Upon his retirement, New York State Energy Research and Development Authority encouraged Lt. Rogers to continue work as a consultant, helping guide local code officials in New York State on the safe installation of ESS. Renowned in this area of specialized expertise, Lt. Rogers currently sits on the NFPA 855(Energy Storage Systems Installations) standard and is a member of the International Fire Code Action Committee for ESS Installations.
