First Hose Co. of Boonsboro, Inc. Annual 911 Remembrance Parade

Annual 911 Remembrance Parade & Covid-19 Health Workers & Responders Recognition Parade to be held along Boonsboro's historic Main Street on Saturday, September 11th, 2021 at 6:30PM.

The parade is being held in memory of the Fire, Rescue and Law Enforcement personnel who lost their lives on 9-11. We will also honor the men and women in the military who have lost their lives and also those who are presently serving our country. This year we will also honor the health workers & first responders for their exemplary performance during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

The event is sponsored by the First Hose Company of Boonsboro, Inc. and all the volunteers and members of both stations.

Line-up of marching units will be at 5:30PM at the Boonsboro School complex located at US Route 40 Alternate and Maryland Route 66 (Mapleville Rd.). The motorized units will line up at 1800 hours in the parking lot of Weis Markets near the intersection of US Route 40A and Route 68.

All Fire, Rescue and Ambulance Companies, All Military and Veteran units, all Military personnel, all Medical personnel and any and all other interested participants are invited and are asked to RSVP by the 8th of September to Vernon Brown, Parade Coordinator, at 301-573-3649, fax 301-432-2438 or email at vbrown@boonsborofire.org
