MISCELLANEOUS IN JERSEY CITY
This month we feature some rolling stock in Jersey City (Hudson County). The first photo is of one of several UTVs. UTV-5, shown is a 2010 Bobcat with Kimtek FireLite Transport skid. Specs include an all aluminum construction skid with a Darley Davey two-stage high pressure pump (flows from 65 gpm @ 48 psi to 20 gpm @ 120 psi). It has a 55-gallon poly water and 5-gallon foam tank and 6.5 hp Honda engine to drive the pump. The rescue area is diamond plate construction and can secure a patient on a long board or Stokes basket. Next is a hazmat decon shower trailer with six individual showers. It is a 2010 unit built by Alpha Mobile Solutions and is pulled by a pickup truck. Next is Reserve Ladder 5, a 1996 Seagrave 100-foot tractor-drawn aerial with rebuild in 2024 by Lembo Body of Newark. The new Ladder 3 is a 2025 E-ONE Typhoon 110-foot tractor-drawn aerial.
