Assigned to the 3rd Battalion, on this tour, was the chief's son, Probationary Firefighter Jordan Bowen. The 3-alarm fire involved a large three-story mixed occupancy structure on Kennedy Boulevard near Linden Avenue, in the 2nd Battalion.
