COURTDALE, PA - On December 14th, Courtdale Vol. Fire Department, along with Larksville Fire and EMS, and Kingston Fire were dispatched to a possible house fire. When units arrived they confirmed a working strucutre fire with pets still inside. They immediately went to work to get to the pets, pulling two hand lines to go inside and start attacking the fire. Crews worked for about three hours to put the fire out and complete overhaul and extension checks. Fire officials believe the fire started in the kitchen and extended into the walls leading up to the attic. The fire displaced two people and their pets, and is under investigation at this time.
