November 14, 2025 — Tabernacle Fire Department members gathered last night for a focused company drill, dedicating the evening to skill-building and firefighter safety. The department welcomed Safety & Survival Training LLC, which provided instruction on firefighter bailout systems—critical, last-resort tools designed to help firefighters escape a structure when traditional exits are no longer accessible.
The hands-on session emphasized proper use, technique, and safety considerations, ensuring firefighters remain confident and prepared for high-risk, low-frequency situations where every second counts.
Members will continue building on this training next week by completing a series of mock bailout scenarios, putting their newly acquired knowledge into practice.
Training never stops at TFD—and neither does the commitment to readiness and community protection.
