Fremont, NH — November 11 — The Fremont Fire Rescue Department, located at 425 Main Street, joined communities across the country in commemorating Veterans Day and paying tribute to military personnel who have served to defend the United States. The department conveyed gratitude to all veterans, past and present, whose commitment and selflessness have enhanced the security and liberties of the country.

Since many firemen have proudly served in uniform before continuing their dedication to aiding people in their communities, fire service professionals observed the long-standing connection between the military and emergency services. Veterans Day provides an opportunity to consider that service and the daily contributions made by veterans.
