Derry, NH — November 13 — The Windham Fire Department sponsored a bailout training for members of the Derry, New Hampshire Fire Department, located at 14 Manning Street. Firefighter Sweeney and Firefighter-Paramedic Villers, two recruits, demonstrated building escape procedures intended to assist firefighters in swiftly and safely leaving upper floors when inside conditions change.

Key skills like safe egress site identification, tool use, and controlled descent were stressed during the course. The trainees were able to apply what they had learnt in the classroom in a real-world context by using Windham's facility.
