A and B Shifts Maintain Full Coverage Through Busy Transition

Merrimack, NH — November 16 — During the changeover between A Shift and B Shift, Merrimack Fire Rescue at 432 Daniel Webster Highway reported a consistent operational tempo, responding to seven emergency calls. Two car accidents, multiple medical replies, and alarm activations were all part of the call mix. Despite the schedule, personnel maintained full coverage while managing shift turnover activities.

Fire departments train to ensure that shift changes do not disrupt service delivery, as emergencies can occur without warning. Strong communication and readiness across both shifts were evident in the seamless response effort. Merrimack Fire Rescue appreciated the teamwork demonstrated throughout the hectic period and highlighted the devotion of the responding firemen who ensured the town remained protected throughout the shift transition.
