Merrimack, NH — November 6 — Merrimack Fire Rescue at 432 Daniel Webster Highway reported a full day for C Shift, with firefighters responding to nine calls for service. One request to assist law enforcement and multiple medical crises were among the instances.
Despite the number of calls, the shift resumed its scheduled training. At the Reeds Ferry Fire Station, crews practiced safe patient evacuation and vehicle stabilisation techniques during a motor vehicle extrication drill. Additional sessions focused on preserving important reaction capabilities. Balancing emergencies with hands-on training is part of the department’s commitment to readiness. The rigorous schedule emphasised the shift's hard work and the value of ongoing education in delivering dependable and effective service to the Merrimack community.
