Litchfield, NH — November 30 — A complaint of smoke inside a house on Cranberry Lane prompted Litchfield Fire Rescue to send Engine 2, Tanker 3, C1, and C2. Under automatic assistance, a ladder and a Hudson engine also reacted. Police informed Litchfield C1 that there might be a dryer fire in the basement when they arrived and established command.

To stop more damage, workers found the dryer, put out the fire, and took it out of the house. After inspecting the second story, Hudson Ladder 2 helped with ventilation after a minor smoke condition was discovered in the basement. Before leaving the area, businesses worked for roughly an hour. Hudson Fire's assistance and well-coordinated reaction were appreciated by Litchfield Fire Rescue.
