The Norwalk Fire Department hosted a ceremony at their headquarters to swear in seven new firemen and promote five officers. Mayor Rilling, the Fire Commissioners, and Chief McCabe presided over the celebration, which drew family members, friends, and fellow firefighters. The department thanked the newly promoted Chief, Assistant Chief, Deputy Chief, Captain, Lieutenant, and incoming firemen, saying that they will all play significant roles in improving community service.
