Bridgeport Fire Raises $7,665 for Breast Cancer Support

Bridgeport, CT — November 25 —The Bridgeport Fire Department reported that its Pink Pledge fundraising drive raised $7,665 for the Norma Pfriem Breast Center. The department honored community members, families, and supporters for their contributions throughout the month of October.
Lieutenant Mohammed Khan received special attention for his continuous involvement in the fundraising drive, as did Firefighter Scott Whalen, who designed this year's shirt. The agency stated that the robust response demonstrates its ongoing commitment to funding local cancer treatment and awareness activities.
